Your First Visit:
Your child will have the choice of watching a movie or playing a video game while one of our team members cleans his/her teeth and gives a fluoride treatment to your child. We also take x-rays and give your child a comprehensive examination.
Cody Mast, D.M.D. attended Willamette University in Salem, Oregon for college, and graduated with a German major and an economics minor. He spent a fifth year of study at UW to fulfill the necessary requirements for entry to dental school at Nova Southeastern University's dental program in Davie, Florida (just north of Miami). After four years at Nova, Dr. Cody received various top honors and accolades to go with his dental degree.
Dr. Cody discovered his joy of working with children and decided to apply for a two-year pediatric residency. (In order to specialize in children's dental care, one must gain experience in providing care for children, ranging from infancy through adolescence, with special healthcare needs. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry must accredit this type of residency.) Dr. Cody was accepted at a highly regarded training program in pediatric dentistry - Indiana University in Indianapolis. He has spent almost two years caring for children at Riley Hospital for Children, a national leader in pediatric care.
Dr. Cody's father is a dentist and his mother is a dental hygienist at the Bellevue Kids Dentist office.
